(Tashkent Times)Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosts UAE’ Minister of Interior, visits Wahat Al Karama mausoleum
Today started the main events of the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United Arab Emirates.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev firstly hosted the UAE Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of the Interior Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan at his temporary residence in Abu Dhabi.
The parties discussed the bilateral cooperation in the field of public security, with an agreement reached on the exchange of delegations and experience in this area.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
The project was launched by the late president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who wanted to establish a structure that would unite the cultural diversity of the Islamic world with the historical and modern values of architecture and art. His final resting place is located on the grounds adjacent to the complex.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Mosque’s Visitors Book.
Then the President laid a wreath at the Wahat al-Karama memorial, which is also known by its English translation Oasis of Dignity, is a war memorial and monument in Abu Dhabi, located across Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to commemorate all Emiratis who were killed in the line of duty.
